Hi, I have a issue that I've read about before. The update frooze at 38% and after retrying it didn't got further than 20% of the installation. It says that I'm now on 1.3.11 but it never finished the installation.
hello Eric,

Sorry for late reply to this,

It seems like when the installation trying to copy the admin file in this step then hitting timeout error.
Can you try request with your Webhosting provider to help you increase max_execution_time to 300 and try install again and see how it goes?

If the error still persists, can you provide us with your FTP access as well? Because I hitting this :

Response: 530 User cannot log in.
Error: Could not connect to server

Please advise.

Hello Eric,

Firstly, I do apologize for the inconveniences caused here. The problem really has nothing to do with the scripts because what is actually happening when it's copying the files, it's also making a backup before overwriting. However, the file system (disk copying speed) on the server is extremely slow which causes the PHP script to time out. This is why Arlex requested your hosting provider to increase the maximum execution time allowed for scripts.

There's some load issues on the server because the site just seem to fail at random intervals and you really need to check with your web hosting provider. I have performed a manual update for you by copying the files over.

Sorry to ask but is it possible that anything else changed after the manual update? I get some of php errors that I haven't seen before on the frontpage and the CD releases page?

Hi Arlex, this is what I see on the top of the mainpage.

Notice: Undefined variable: enhancedOutput in /customers/4/d/3/whoisontour.org/httpd.www/plugins/system/GoogleAnalytics/GoogleAnalytics.php on line 99

I just found out that in the config the Error Reporting was set to maximum so this is probably why I see these errors. I probably have to work on the php errors because it is clear that they are not caused by ES but come form other scripts.

Hello Eric Vermeulen,

I'm really sorry for that, because is me enabled that error_reporting to Maximum for checking the installation last night

Yes, when you turn it off, then the error will not show out.
