I was using 5.0.12 and noticed that the EasyBlog back end dash board said that 5.0.13 was available. I chose to update by clicking the button (onthe dash board) and the install proceeded. Unfortunately it proceeded to re-install 5.0.12 again, NOT the 5.0.13 version. It downloaded 5.0.12 and installed that.

Just a small problem. Not major but needs fixing.

Downloaded the 5.0.13 installer and it installed cleanly (as expected)..
Hi Geoff,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding this issue, I've fixed the issue internally. The fix will be added into next release of EasyBlog 5.0. For the quick fix, can you download the attached two php file and copy the files to:

1. Copy 'default.php' to folder 'JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/easyblog/' and overwrite the existing default.php file.

2. Copy 'installing.source.php' to folder 'JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/themes/steps/' and overwrite the existing file installing.source.php

The above will fix your EasyBlog 'update now' issue

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Just tested with 5.0.14 and can confirm that it does indeed resolve the problem.

Thank you.
