Updating ES (without overwriting changes)

Is there a way to update to 1.4.4 without erasing any changes made like logo image in notification emails, spacing changes in css files, etc?
Hey Haki,

It actually all depends on how these changes are made in the first place. If you have done this via template overrides, your changes wouldn't be lost
