I'm trying to make an update om my EasyBlog from 3.8.14670 to what the system suggest (3.9.16263). My Joomla version 3.3.1.
I can update to 10% then I get an error which says I should type a new API Key. I take the API Key from my account here on Stackideas, so I don't know what to do?
See the error-message in attached file. I also tryed to generat a new API Key, but same happens.

Thank you for your help
Karin

Hello Karin,

Upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things. You might want to download from stackideas.com/dashboard and manually install it via extension manager.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

Hope this helps.

Hello Karin,

If your license is still active, you don't have to pay for update. Can you provide us your backend and FTP so I can update Easyblog for you?
