I just updated EasySocial to 4.0.3 and also updated the Charm template per your most recent blog. The site is ok except that the css for the menu seems to have disappeared. Instead the menu is just displaying at a big long list of text.

This may be another clue but I keep seeing the following error message periodically on the site:

Table 'drcarne2.#__cleantalk_sfw_logs' doesn't exist

Hi there,

There seems to have some issue with scripts and stylesheets compressing on the template. I've added these fixes on your site and it should be working correctly now.

And by the way, I've disabled the following:
1. Anti-spam by CleanTalk plugin (This causes this issue: Table 'drcarne2.#__cleantalk_sfw_logs' doesn't exist. Try to reinstall the plugin again and see if this resolved.)
2. System - Regular Labs - CDN for Joomla! (Temporarily to fix the issue. You may turn it on again and don't forget to purge CDN cache)
3. Logo Image - Edit without Editor module. (This causing duplicate logo on your site)
4. Main Menu module (This causing duplicate menu on your site)

Please give this a try and let us know how it goes.

Thank you very much for your help. The site is much better but still has significant differences from what it was. I will work with my host to make a copy of your work on a duplicate site and then recover my site to it's state before yesterdays updates. Then I will have to move slowly doing the updates, including the updates to EasySocial and the Charm template. I will keep you informed how it goes.

I just replicated my site with all your changes to https://www.dev1.carneycorner.com/ temporarily. I will recover my site back to it's state yesterday before the updates so that the site is not broken for the users and then try to more slowly and methodically update the software so that I don't suffer a broken site. Thank you very much for your help.

I have recovered my site at https://www.drcarney.com/ to what it was before I attempted to upgrade EasySocial and the Charm template. So, my site it back and operational.

At this point I am going to have to leave the site alone until I can get some time to work on it again. I think that I will have to work on a development site next time as this upgrade appears to be pretty major. Thanks again.

I think you can close this ticket for now and I will open a new ticket when I get ready to attempt the updates again.
