I am noticing story entries like "XXX updated the event details"

This doesn't help people much. I think in earlier versions of EasySocial the name of the event appeared and it was hyperlinked too? So it would say "XXX updated the MARATHON event details"

You can see an example of this on my homepage if needed (as long as more recent activities haven't pushed them too far down!)

Thanks if you can help comment / solve!
Hi there,

Thanks for the input. This fixes will be included on our next release version.

HI there,

You can do language override on this string 'APP_USER_EVENTS_STREAM_USER_UPDATED_EVENT' and it translations like this '%1$s updated the %2$s details'.

Please give it a try and see how it goes

Thanks Abdul - I appreciate the override advice, but could this please be considered to come back into the core build. It always used to be there... The user experience is fairly poor in its current format.. example:

On my main activity stream I see "Abdul updated the event details"

Oh.. how interesting I say to myself... so I click on the only thing I can click on which is the hyperlinked 'Abdul' and I get to the profile page where, the activity stream says again "Abdul updated the event details"

So the end result is I am left with no idea at all what event that is and what got changed! This really isn't good...

The way it used to be in earlier versions (up to very recently I think) of EasySocial was nice and clear and simple... "Abdul updated the NAME OF EVENT details" and the name of the event was clickable straight through to the event page.

Please bring it back. This is supposed to be easySocial after all!

Thanks for listening.
