Hey guys, I see from your website that EasyBlog 5.0.17 is out.
From my Joomla 3 installation I am using version 3.9.24862 which the component indicates is the most recent version. Why has the Joomla 3 Easy Blog component not detected the more recent update available?

Hey David,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The problem is actually because the updater / version checking service for 3.x, runs on a different platform altogether. Hence, the version checks aren't displaying the most up to date version

By the way, to update to the latest version, head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard and download the new installer. You can't use the "internal" updater to update to the latest version.

Interesting, I will give the manual installer a try then.
Anything I should be careful of when upgrading from the older version?

Hey David,

If you are updating to 5.0.19, it should be pretty painless. There was some issues with the earlier releases but if you are downloading 5.0.19, you are good.
