Why is it not possible to update from the backend extensions update screen any longer?
I will report this to our developer regarding this, for now you can try update through Easyblog dashboard page.

Am I correct in that if I install EasyBlog on another site that is not in my list of domains, it will not update through the Joomla update process nor the easyblog update link within the component window?

Yes, you're right.

For those other domain site not listed into your current license support domain, it required to download latest launcher /full installer from https://stackideas.com/dashboard then manually upload through Joomla backend installer page and proceed the installation.

I remember being part of a discussion here within the last 18 months where it was determined that it would be reasonable for those EB clients who had a large number of websites using EB to be able to update through the automatic update process but only receive priority support on the domains that were listed in their account.

I have attached a text file of Mark's post indicating that you had updated your policy to cover this situation.

When did this policy change back to disallow updating through Joomla Update or even your update link within the blog backend?

it would seem to me that this limiting policy is taking advantage again of your most loyal of clients.

Hey Tom,

I already consult with our team regarding this, I might be missed up some important info during meeting last time so given wrong information in my previous reply, i am sorry for that.

And I also got our developer confirmation, that is a bug for the Joomla update for Easyblog in current version, this will fix in next release version but the next release version will not work yet for example :

1. The current version 5.2.4.
2. when we release 5.2.5 version, it needed to update the latest fix file into the Easyblog updater file on your site. Mean you have to download the latest launcher installer from https://stackideas.com/dashboard then install through Joomla installer page and proceed the installation.
3. so when we release 5.2.6 version, you can only update through Joomla updater.
