Hi

How do I update EasyBlog from v 3.9.1 to 5.0.25?
Should I download the Launcher, Component or the Ful Package?
Offcourse I want to keep all my posts and my custom changes...
Hey Grith,

First of all, let me explain to you about our installers:

Launcher - Is an installer without our component files included, during installation, the files will be downloaded from our server to yours.
Component - Is an installer with the component itself, big file size.
Full Package - Is an installer with the component, plus modules, much bigger file size.

Regarding on the changes that you made in 3.9, if the customization is made within our component, it will be overwritten during installation.

If you still having problems to proceed with installation, please submit us a ticket with your Joomla & FTP access to our CRM: https://crm.stackideas.com/ and our support staff will help you on this.

Please advice. Thank you.

hey Grith,

In my opinion, you can download the launcher installer from http://stackideas.com/dashboard then upload through in your Joomla installer.

And you can refer on this upgrade documentation here :
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/upgrades/upgrade-easyblog-3-9-to-easyblog-5

Note: Remember backup all of your custom file before upgrade.
