Hello,

i wanted to update Easysocial to the newest version.
I downloaded the update package here and load it in the package part with my ftp.
I started the installation in the Backend of Easysocial.
In step 4 the Installation stucked at 20 %.
Now it shows the correct version in the Backend of Easysocial, but it doesent work.
Buttons are not clickable, and the history doesent load older things by scrolling down and so on.
Need help...

Hello Juergen,

You're welcome.

==============================================================================
Hi Sunny and Joseph Christ,

Can you try follow this "install via network" documentation and see how it goes?

Download the launcher installer zip file from your dashboard -> http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Then upload in your backend > extension manager.

Hi Sunny,

Can you try enable the error_reporting to Maximum from your backend ?

Then try install from your backend > extension manager

Also remember open your browser development console tool, check my screenshot.

After that you will noticed the ajax request until 1 of the request is failed, then click it and see the "Preview" or "response" tab , it should be show out 1 error message why you stuck at 30%.

Keep us updated about the result.

Hello,

we have a comparable problem when we try to update from version 1.3.29 to 1.3.30.

The bigger problem in this moment is, that EasySocial don`t load two JS-files at the Frontend - i receive the following response:

http://my.domain.com/media/com_easysocial/scripts/easysocial-1.3.30.static.min.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

http://my.domain.com/media/com_easysocial/resources/default-1.3.30.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

How i can fix it?

Hey Steffen,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we are currently having a Joomla conference here in Malaysia and most of the team are involved in the preparation.

I would personally prefer that you start a new thread instead and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this.
