I noticed a bug has returned with the latest release where an event that is scheduled for today is marked as a past event even though it hasn't started yet.

I believe it's related to the server time setting ... when the difference between the current time and the event start time is within a certain amount of hours (7 in my case). I had this bug once before (see attached image)...
Hey Justin,

Can you try download my attached file again and replace into JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/event/startend/startend.php and see how it goes?

Because it seems like your FTP details already get override when you update your Joomla backend on your first post in earlier, so I was unable to connect with your FTP server now.

Hey Justin,

I've help you configured to allow User to set Timezone during the create event page, can you give it a try again is it it will show accurate now?

You can take a look of my attached screenshot below, i did a test from your site, it seems work fine.

But the timezone date you have to re-calculate with your timezone for example :

1. If I set timezone "Singapore" then i have to minus 8 hour for GMT
2. let says my event end date is Nov 23, 12pm
3. So i have to set my end date to Nov 23 4am

Hi Arlex,

I have the site, and the event's time set to Vancouver. When editing the event it shows the proper date and time (in this case, I set it to November 23, 2016 - 7:00 am .. see attached screenshot). When viewing the event after saving it, the date and time show as November 22, 2016 - 11:00 pm (also attached)...

Hey Justin,

I've applied some fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/event/startend/startend.php , it should show correctly date time now when during the edit.

Hi Arlex,

I'm still running with the time not saving properly when updating an event. With the attached images, I set the time to 7:00 PM, but after saving the update the time shows as 11:00 AM, which it also shows when re-editing the event again.

Thanks:D

As a follow-up to my last comment, when I add a new event and leave the end date/time blank, the system automatically adds today's date and time (see attached ... ). The start time is the proper one, but when I go back in to edit the event to remove the end time and save, the event's start time then shows at 11:00 AM like with the above example.

When I edit your test event, the time saves as 8 hours earlier ... same time difference as with my events.

I've added my admin login information to my 'Site Details' if you'd like to try testing with my account.
