Hello,

as far as i can see, there is no toggle or option to enable an unsubsribe link within a "new post" email. I want to import a subscriber list for the whole blog from an older one. However, it might be that some added subscribers want to unsubscribe from my new blog. Hence, I want to give them a comfortable option to do so. Is it possible to add an unsubscribe link at the end of each or at least at "new post" mail?

Hey Marcel,

This is already possible by default in EasyBlog. As long as the user is subscribed to the blog, when they receive a new e-mail notification, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail which allows them to unsubscribe.

Hello,

thanks for this quick reply. Sounds good. However, as far as i can see (notification mail and mail-preview in menu) there is no such link. please see attached images. Am i blind or Is there a special option?!

Hi Marcel,

I've access your mail activities and preview one of the sent mail (new post) and it seems to shows the un-subscribe link on the footer of the email http://take.ms/EQnoM
I've already subscribe to your site, and I'll keep eye on the new post mail notification to see the un-subscribe link on the email

Hello Fadhli,

thanks! I think i got it. Although I’m the administrator I subscribed additionally as “normal” subscriber (i want to see the mails with the eyes of a subscriber), using my joomla-administrator email address.

I received the „new post“-mail as well as all other subscribers did. However, in my mail wasn’t an unsubscribed link, maybe it has to do with the email address. All other subscribers see the unsubscribe link. I can track that also in mail-activities protocol.
Hence, the issue is solved for me!
