Hi,
the unsubscribe link in the subscription confirmation mail leads to an empty page that says "invalid token".
Any idea what is going wrong?
Hope you can help!
Best,
Ineke
Hi Ineke,

I've applied the fix inside your /components/com_easyblog/controllers/subscription.php and it should be working fine now. Can you verify it for me?

Hi Ezrul,
It's not quite fixed yet. Now, I'm getting an error:

500 - Sorry, but you are not allowed to perform this action.

I need this to work for guests as well as registered users.
Hope you can fix it!
best,
Ineke

Hi Ezrul,
Yes it does work now, but still something odd:

I subscribe to for instance to category "minke" at http://lotje.studioih.nl/blogs/minke
Then I click on the unsubscribe link in the mail, and this leads me to the page of another category: http://lotje.studioih.nl/blogs/lotje-s-keukentafel
And I get the message that I have successfully unsubscribed from the post.
That's a bit confusing, I would think that it should go to the category that you first unsubscribed to?

Best
Ineke

Hey Ineke,

When you unsubscribe, EasyBlog does not redirect you back to the original category. All it does is redirect you back to the front page of EasyBlog. This is the default behavior of the subscription system.

Hi Mark,
Aha!
Thank you for explaining. I'm not using the front-page, but I could solve that by creating a link to the Easyblog-front-page in the hidden menu, I presume.
Thanks!

Hey Ineke,

Yep, creating a menu item to the front page of EasyBlog should redirect the users to the front page blog listings

What is the fix if you mind asking. I'm trying to launch my new site and I have the same issue when testing emails. Clicking the unsubscribe link just results in an invalid token message on my site.

Hi Brian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Can you start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue for you directly?
