Hi Arlex. I think unique group names is an important feature and should be an option available to administrators. Also not allowing special characters in group names would be a good idea. Multiple groups with the same name only lead to confusion. Groups on LinkedIn do not allow duplicate group names.

I did checked from the Facebook, Facebook did allow user create duplicated group name because they do not denied those people who like to put they favourite group name.
