Unexpected token error when posting

I'm getting this error Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0 when trying to post. In firefox, the error is JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

Software Is Up To Date
Installed Version: 5.0.44

What's going on? How do I fix this?

It seems that your site is using redirection from index.php to none. You need to enable this option 'Use index.php For Ajax Urls' at Backend>component>EasySocial>Settings>General>Systems as shown https://screencast.com/t/brWOHdwNY.

By the way, i have enabled it for you and it should works fine now. Please give it a try and see how it goes.
