Hi,

I am trying to achieve an override for this file:

/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/likes/likes.php

What folder structure do I need inside the html folder of my template? I just find documentation about theme overrides but probably this should work as well. At this moment it is for EasySocial but I will later start with ED and EB customization and probably will come up with similar questions so my final question is if there is a documentation for non-theme file overrides?
Unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this because currently that is no other way to tell Joomla load the override function file from the template directory folder.

I see, I was hoping to get overrides for any changes. Thank you for your answer, Arlex. Maybe you think about implementing this as an option to prevent likes pushing items to the top. At least I think it is not important enough that someone likes it to push it back up.

Thanks for the input on this Sabih, ideally we wouldn't reckon overriding "libraries" as it may cause unexpected issues with upgrades. Having said that, what were you trying to modify?
