Unable to use "Like" function when login form is disabled

Does "like" function only enabled when I display Login Form, and the user needs login before "give a thumbs-up" ?

If it doesn't, and the anonymous user could "give a thumbs-up" to comment, please tell me how to setting up.

Hi there,

You would have to enabled the 'Like Comments' ACL permission for the guest user group at Komento backend ACL section(http://take.ms/fwFpS).

Try it out and let us know how it goes.
