We are unable to upload a video file from front-end. When we try it gives us null error. This is link to easy-social front-end. See this link with display of error - http://prntscr.com/i2dgye

How can I fix this? I have the latest version Easy Social (v2.1.7) and Joomla 3.8.2. Please help.
Hi there,

Oh, sorry for my confusion on above reply. I am not aware that you have created a different ticket instead regarding this issues.

By the way, after checking on this issues, it seems that you have not enabled "passthru" function on your current php as shown http://take.ms/kGav4. It is required for you to enable them as it is required for that function to be enabled in order to use videos and other feature.

Can you consult with your current web hosting service provider regarding this and see how it goes

Hi there,

It seems that your current FFMPEG is wrong as you can see here http://take.ms/AGU8T. Maybe you can consult with your web hosting service provider regarding this and see how it goes.

Please advice.

I could be wrong, but that may not be the case. There is another video component which uses the said path and all good there. See image - http://prntscr.com/i2hww0

I also checked with the hosting company (GoDaddy) and they said FFMPEG 2.8.6 is installed and working. It was working fine, until I updated. Could it be PHP or some other issue? This is most urgent as a promotion will be started and the Easy Social video section is required.

I had the same issue before. You may see it in your forum at - https://stackideas.com/forums/ffmpeg-path-invalid

The issue was resolved then and the said error message was visible from that time. However, since update it is just not working properly.

Thank you for your input. The issue has been resolved. The hosting company had to enable passthru. There was a glitch from their end.
