I recently updated my EasyBlog subscription after it had been inactive for several months.

When I update from the EasyBlog dashboard I get this error:
"Error updating component when using the API from Joomla. Please try again."

When I try to update from the Joomla Extensions Update page I get this error:
"Failed to extract file: easyblog_to_6.0.5_from_5.4.11_key_....etc"

It seemed from other posts that the fix should be to download the Installer Launcher Package from my subscription page and install it from the Upload & Install Joomla window. But then I get this unhelpful error message:
"error"

I am attempting to update from 5.4.11 to 6.0.5
Can you update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Also, remember to do the full backup before we investigate this installation issue on your site.

Thanks for the reply Arlex. I tried installing again on a different browser and it worked. I think I was using an outdated browser on my earlier attempts.
