while trying installation on wamp local
a) It was showing error - unable to store post - whats that - Have tried again - still showing this error
b) Timeless theme Front page layout is changed, data styling was in 3.8x. Could you have a look . See differences like
> No line gap in between posts, Earlier it was box style
> Date was looking better in previous version theme with Light Grey & Blue with relative bigger & better view

I've checked on your screenshot, but I didn't encounter this issues before and hard to tell you why hitting this error without checking on your site.

Perhaps you can temporary upload your local file to your live site so that we can access and investigate on this.

Regarding with your no gap between post question :
You can try apply this following css code in your current template, it should work fine. 


div#fd.eb .eb-post + .eb-post {

  border-top: 1px solid #ddd !important;

  padding-top: 15px !important;

}
