Hi Mark, it was happening on new posts but seem ok now. It is now happening to an exisitng post titled "Meeting with Datin Junaidah & Team on TMO Formation 05052016" when you try to edit. I wanted to attach it to "Project Advance" Group in Jomsocial

I was in the midst of changing it from an event-attached blog post to a group-attached blog post when this happened

I've inspected that the event title is too long that caused the pencil icon disappear. I've log this in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action for this. However I've manage to change the event to the Project Advance Group. Please give it a look.
