I just got Komento component and I am trying to set it up, but I am getting really weird behavior.
The links in the component dont work, settings dont save. I click on setting and nothing happens. I am able to enter setting from joomla top menu komento settings but then none of the tabs dont work.
When I click on tabs I get in url #tab I want to enter (#tab-location), and nothing happens. During installation all was green. Tried reistalling, nothing happens. Considering I cant disable it, because it doesnt save I will have to uninstall, please provide solution or refund.

Thanks
Okay found the issue and I believe there is some caching going on in the site. I tried to access the page https://www.srecniljudi.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_cache to clear the cache but I am not able to access it.

Are you able to purge the cache from the site?

Hi there,

It seems that you have uninstalled Komento on your site. Can i have your permission to re-install them and check further on this issues?

Please advice.

Yes, I had to uninstall it because I couldn't disable it. That is, if I went disable then save it would refresh to enabled.

You may re-install it, but please after you get everything working, disable it, so I can fine tune everything to my needs.

Thank you

Hello Sonja,

Okay, I believe I have found the issue and the problem seems to be caused by your site title which contains double quotes. Is it possible for you to provide us with the FTP access to the site so that I can see if I could quickly patch the site?

By the way, I have also disabled the extension temporarily.

I have updated the original post with ftp access as there seems to be no option to do it later on in replies.
Please write down all the changes you make to my site, so I am sure it wont affect the rest of the components.

Thank you

Hello Sonja,

Thanks, but it seems like when you tried to add the ftp access, the site access was removed. Could you enter your site details on https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site ?

Hello Sonja,

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have applied some fixes on the file /administrator/components/com_komento/includes/scripts/scripts.php and at line 76, replaced the codes below,

[gist]
"siteName": "<?php echo $siteName;?>",
[/gist]

With,

[gist]
"siteName": "<?php echo KT::string()->escape($siteName);?>",
[/gist]

This is working fine now. You can go ahead and publish Komento on your site and give this a try again.

I was able to setup, but now load more on comments doesn't work, read more, when typing in the comment counter doesn't work, submit comment doesn't work, and also recaptcha not showing up.

Please help

It seems my optimization scripts were causing the problem, everything works now.

Thank you
