We have a developer site and a production site. We updated easyblog on the developer first and everything went well. On the production site we couldn't update it. The installation freezed with the message (trying to fetch credentials or so. So we installed a backup of the developer site on production site.

On the developer site we can create/edit and save new posts, however not on production site - even though it's a copy of it.
Hi Pietro,

I can replicate the issue in your site, where as I try publish a post it will redirect to joomla control panel.
As you said earlier that you cannot update your EasyBlog, I suspect the component do not updated correctly.
Thus, can I have a permission to re-install EasyBlog in your site? For your information by re-installing, it will not delete your settings/posts.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding Pietro

Dear Muhammad

You have the permission to reinstal lthe component. Formats etc. will not be affected, will they?

Thank you for your support. I backed up the site for the case we need to compare it afterward.

Can you tell me how you updated the component since we had already such an issue last time. I could not update the component and we reinstalled it. This time installation caused also a problem. Might it be because of the subscription I registered? As I said, the asiagreen.n3e.ch is just our developer site where we test and develop updates first.

Kind regards.

Pietro

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I noticed your site got set come redirection like when someone trying to access your site without www prefix, then it will redirect to http://www.site.com .

So this is the problem since you have configure your live site value to this following value without www prefix under your Joomla root folder configuration.php file :

public $live_site = 'https://site.com';

I already help you set it to empty :

public $live_site = '';

It seems like it doesn't redirect it anymore during post save, can you give it a check is it work fine now?
