Hello there,

Since i purchased easyblog, I had issues with the tags, as every time a particular blog was updated, the tags disappeared.

Today it went from bad to worse, as the entire text in the blog disappeared when it was saved. When i tried to create the blog from the front-end of the site, the update button doesn't seem to work.

I thought the update would probably fix this, but to my surprise even the update button wouldn't work (I did accept the terms).

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Vinod
Hello Vinod,

I have checked in your Easyblog site, it seems like some plugin conflict or not install Easyblog completely.
Is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend, authentication required security access and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Hi Mark,

It is quite mystery for me.

This morning some of my team members reported that they could not create a new blog and when i inspected the page with google chrome, i saw 13 errors on the page. Those errors weren't there yesterday, so something has gone wrong on this morning. The only change that was done to the site was a Joomla! upgrade. So i can only think of that as the cause for the errors.

As for the error noticed by Arlex, the component did not reinstall because there were some files left on the server after the initial uninstall. The reinstall could not replace these files due to permission issues. So with chmod g+w, i gave write permission to the user-group deamon and the reinstall worked.
