Hi

I am currently unable to post a blog to my site from either the front end or the backend. The new blog editing page opens and seems to be functioning correctly until i try update or publish the blog. When I do this, it indicates that the blog is being saved, but then it returns to the editing page and the post is not published.

I am not sure if it is related, but I did have some similar problems several days ago, but was then able to publish a blog yesterday. but I am now having more difficulties.

Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks
Hello Steven,

I am sorry but it looks like there are some mixups here. It seems like you are requesting support for the domain name http://icultivate.net/ but your license is associated with http://qba.org.au .

Each Pro license entitles you to obtain support for 1 domain only and it looks like you have also previously requested support for the domain name http://qba.org.au on the following posts,

https://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog-archive-module-not-owrking
https://stackideas.com/forums/blogs-not-showing-after-upgrade
https://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog-archive-module-not-owrking

Is the site http://qba.org.au no longer running EasyBlog?

If you require support for more than 1 domain, you are required to either purchase an additional support license or upgrade to the developer plan which entitles you to obtain support for 5 domains.

Can you please let me know if there are any mistakes on my observation here?

Thanks!

Hi Mark

My apologies ........ I have now purchased the Pro Bundle and are intending to migrate the JomSocial community over to EasySocial. First though, if you can have a look at the problem I am having with publishing blogs it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hey Steven,

I've checked in your site regarding this unable submit blog in your site issue, it seems work fine for me when I submit a new post and edit the post from your frontend, perhaps you can check my video here ( http://screencast.com/t/ByjMQBkRj2p ) and see is it I replicate this issue wrongly?

Ok, I have trouble shot it a little more. It appears to be linked to the number of characters or words in the blog.

On my site I have added a blog called "Growing Your Own Super food - Kale"

For some reason this blog will not save if I add further words. Is there something wrong with this specific blog? Or is there a setting I am missing that prevents saving of a blog with more words or characters than are currently in this one?

thank you

hey Steven,

It seems work fine for me when I added more characters from your blog post, you can check my video here : http://screencast.com/t/lTtMC1zh

Perhaps you can download Jing software so that you can record a video to show us how you replicate this issue so later I can re-check again.

Keep us update regarding this.

Hi Arlex

Thanks for this. Unfortunately the problem still exists and I am unable to identify what I am doing different to what you did. Couldn't get Jing to work, so here is a Youtube clip of the problem:

Hopefully this will help identify the problem.

Thanks

Hey Steven,
I managed to replicate the issue on the post in your video. However, it seems the error is hidden somehow so we have to investigate this more in depth.
Can you provide us your ftp access so we can investigate this issue better? Thanks.

Hello Steven,

Would you mind pasting the remaining text that you wanted to enter here so that I can try to reproduce this?

Hi Mark

Under the "Harvest" heading this is all of the text that needs to follow:

Basically, you can harvest kale leaves at any time. Select leaves that are a size that are suitable for your needs - probably around 20 to 30 centimetres long. The main rule is to ensure that you select lateral leaves and not those from top of the plant - this is the growing section of the plant. Picking leaves from the top will significantly reduce what  that plant will provide you with for the season.

Hello Steven,

I believe there is something on your hosting provider's end that prevents the use of the words highlighted here, http://take.ms/ibmki . As soon as I remove both these words, it was submitted successfully. After multiple attempts of trying to save using these words, your web server is now denying my access to access the site.

Can you please try removing the words "leaves from" in that sentence and try to save it again?
