Hello,
I built a blog on vrolijkzorgenkind.nl.
My client, who writes the blogs, cannot upload an image though the mediamanger. She gets a notification "unable to parse server response".
When I try there is no problem.
I'm a super user, my client an author.
I hope you can help me with this (no hurry, it's the weekend and I uploaded the image for her now)
best
Ineke
Hello Ineke Huibregtse,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have checked in your User type, it seems like there only have superuser group and registered group under the user.
Also, i have tested in your frontend, it seems like i using you provided that user "stack", also can't able to upload the image in the media manager.
May i know is it you upload the image file from your backend Easyblog media manager right?

Is it possible provide us with your FTP access so we can investigate on this issues? Please advise.

Hello Arlex,
No need to say sorry!
I made you a super user, so that's odd. And I'm talking about uploading at the front-end.
If you login at the frontend (you can use the link "inloggen" in the footer menu) you get a link "blogs beheren" also in the footer menu. This will take you to the easyblog dashboard.
If I do that, I can use the mediamanger to upload images without any problems, but my client gets the notification (unable to....)
Thanks and enjoy the weekend!

Hello Ineke Huibregtse,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have noticed your site getting this error :

Warning: preg_match_all(): Compilation failed: unrecognized character after (?< at offset 3 in /var/www/vhosts/13/153333/webspace/httpdocs/vrolijkzorgenkind.nl/libraries/joomla/application/web/client.php on line 283

We already help you solved follow this solution post -> http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=710&t=825524
But that is not causing the media manager can't upload the image issues.

The reason is because you set wrongly with your live_site name from your configuration.php, it might the server can't get the correct URL from your site.
Before you set this " http://vrolijkzorgenkind.nl/ " without www, after we help you set it to empty then it work fine. Please have a check.

Hello Arlex,
Thank you so much, that's what I call good service!
I'll ask my clinet if she's able now to upload images through the media manager.
Best,
Ineke
