Hello,

I just updated to EasyDiscuss 4.1.12 and now I am unable to open any discussion. It always takes me back to the index page of ED. Is this a known issue? I am a super user, so I should have all access. My staff member with staff permissions can't open any existing discussion.

Is this a known issue with this release? Seems like the router is broken.

Thank you.
Hm that was strange because we tested in locally, it seems fine.

And currently we haven't receive any user report this such of issue yet because we just released this latest version.

Perhaps you can consider to clone your current site to staging site and provide us with your site backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?

Hello,

I will setup a clone but give me some time to do so. For now I switched back to the previous version as the site runs in Git this is easy, luckily

Hello,

So I had the site running locally as well and I found out the issue. The problem is in the router.php on line 559 where it says:

$postId = EDR::decodeAlias($testFirstItem, 'Post');

The $testFirstItem is the category in this case and not the post, which is $testItem.

Note that this is with category based routing enabled. Did you test with that setting? I think if you test with category based routing, you will see the issue as well.

Solution for me is to change the $testFirstItem to $testItem.
