Same problem as many other users - I think I have Easyblog Email Publishing all configured but it will not import the emails. Read through many other tickets but never saw one that worked for me.

Sometimes the cron job returns
"email_import":{"status":200,"type":"info","message":"No emails found in mailbox. Skipping this."}
and right now is returning
"email_import":{"status":"","type":"","message":""}

The connection works. The email account has unread messages.

Joomla 3.9.0, Easyblog 5.2.9

Hey Terry,

It seems like I can't access your site backend page, can you add our current office IP address 175.139.131.36 into your server while-list?

That IP is also now whielisted.

Can you access the main site itself? The King might have some geographic IP blocking also.

Thanks, I can able to access your site backend now, it look like you doesn't assign one of the default author from the mailbox publishing setting http://take.ms/b1bhX , I already help you assigned to 'Staff Blog User' , it should able to import post from mailbox now, you can refer this screenshot : http://take.ms/YWPbc

The reason why you need to set 'Associate Posts With User' this setting is because Easyblog do not allow guest user to publish blog post on the site by default, so when the system fetch those post from mailbox, all these import post will stored it as this author.

Unless you would like to match back those email address with your site existing registered user, then you have to enable this setting 'Map E-mail Address To User's E-mail Address' .

Thanks very much.

I had spent hours playing with those settings including both 'Associate Posts With User' and 'Map E-mail Address To User's E-mail Address' and never hit on the proper combination.

I'll now mark the ticket resolved.
