I've followed the install instructions for Komento, but everytime I've tried to install via Joomla installer, I keep getting the error message "Unable to find install package." So I figure I'll upload it via FTP and install from folder. I unpack the file and put it in my tmp directory and I still get the same error message. Is there a folder where the install package is located within the zip file which I need to extract? Please advise.

Thanks,
Can you include your site's backend and FTP access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Thanks, I can able to access now.

It seems like you hitting this following error once uploaded the Komento installer.

×
Warning
JFolder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /home/public_html
Warning: Failed to move file: /tmp/phpvfX6vG to /xxx/tmp/com_komento_launcher_pro_3.1.2_joomla_113477 (1).zip

The reason why you hitting this error is because these following directory folder doesn't set to writable permission, you can check my attached screenshot below.
/home/public_html/administrator/logs (Log folder)
/home/public_html/tmp (Temp folder)

Can you request with your webhosting provider to help you update this 2 directory folder permission to writable?
Once set to writable permission, you should able to install Komento into your site.

Got in contact with my hosting provider. I had just transferred my hosting services and migrated my site. What happened is that the directory paths were incorrect. They fixed that and then I tried installing Komento again. That fixed it. Thanks for your help.
