Hi,

On the last version that we use (3.9) I can edit another super user post.
But after upgrading to the latest one, it does not seem to allow me.
Composer opens up but I cannot edit the text.
I can however, change the categories and everything else except the text.

Do you know what I can do?
Checked the ACL settings all seem to be set to yes.
Hey Oscar,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Yes, that is correct. I was reluctant to change this for you as I do not want to mess with the data. Perhaps this is what you can try:

Hey Oscar,

I am actually wondering how did these blog posts get created initially? It seems like there is a pretty similar issue as the one you had for pagination where the column "document" is empty. For the pagination issue, it was due to an empty column for "source_type".

Hi Mark,

Thank you for replying. As per my previous ticket on pagination, these posts were created initially using the earlier version of easyblog 3.9. Post were created as how they should be. Click New and add.

These issues happened when we upgraded to easyblog 5.0.31 which we have now updated to 5.0.32.

They might have happened due to the installation stuck at 45% intially?
I am not sure. But I am pretty sure they happened because of the upgrade.
You might want to check out the updating process?
Maybe I am not supposed to update from 3.9 directly to 5.0.31 considering there is a little structural change between the two (the theme structure for example)?
Maybe there is a step missing when updating from 3.9 to 5.0.31?

Cheers,
Oscar

Hi Mark,

I seems to find the issue.
The column "doctype" in table #__easyblog_post is empty.
Am I right to assume that it needs to have the value "legacy"? Can you please confirm?

I tried entering "legacy" for one of the post and now it is now editable.

FYI, further to my previous tix reply, the following are also issues that I encountered after upgrading:
1. All posts were not assigned to any categories. I had to re-assigned them manually again.
2. One or two posts lost their full text and only left with intro (did not notice as I was busy working on the theme)
3. All posts except the two has had lost their "Read More" i.e. listing showing full text instead of intro.

I thought you guys might want to check it out or let others know.

Thanks,
Oscar
