I'm rebuilding a website from the ground up. I have updated EB from 5.28 to 5.29. The update was done through the internal updater. When I try to delete a post, I get a blank page.

You can see what is happening here: http://screencast.com/t/VFwZAXxvW0qx

I have tried to the following to solve the problem:

Downloaded the Launcher from EB and then upload
Ran Fix the DB
Cleared the cache and Expired Cache

Thanks in advance for the help.
Hey Stephen,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked in your site, it seems like you hitting this following error :
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to plgFinderEasyBlog::index() must be an instance of FinderIndexerResult, instance of stdClass given, called in xxx/administrator/components/com_finder/helpers/indexer/adapter.php on line 330 and defined in xxx/new/plugins/finder/easyblog/easyblog.php on line 157

After troubleshoot long time ago, It seems like this happening only when these post is imported from feed importer, If I create a new test post in your site and trash it, it will process successfully without hitting any error.

I also noticed these post can't even have the author and category. May i know where you imported these post in your site?

However I also noticed some of your site existing post do not have any author assigned.

If you still hitting that blank page, perhaps you can temporary disable this Easyblog finder plugin from backend http://www.yoursite.com/new/administrator/index.php?option=com_plugins&view=plugin&layout=edit&extension_id=10312

Hope this help.

Thanks Arlex for troubleshooting the issue. I was concerned that the update was the problem. I had imported these posts straight into the database which would explain the missing author category which I am gradually updating. I think I'm OK now. Simply knowing that the issue was tied to any post that was imported via the RSS feed is extremely helpful.

Thanks,

Steve
