Yes I understand that the danish language is only translated 29% - but I have translated at whole lot of the language file.
Would it be an idea to replace the content of the en-GB language file with the content of my translated da-DK language file? (is it the same content except from the language ofcourse?)

Yes, but it would be best if you can replace back with your translated da-DK language into original file
