Unable to change author or post

Having an issue today where if myself or another user attempts to post an article, when you click publish all that you see on screen is a blank page. When I attempt to change the author of a post, I get a blank box.

This appears to be happening after the last update.

From a previous ticket, when the dashboard file is updated, I have to go in and change some code I was provided to make emails send on publish because my blog is set to private.

Right now, I am unable to publish and I need this fixed please. I am unable to provide FTP access.

I believe your modifications that you have performed is causing these errors because when I tried to publish a blog post, this is the error that I am getting,



Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'if' (T_IF) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\joomla_25\components\com_easyblog\controllers\dashboard.php on line 1047

Thanks. I reinstalled and made the change again and now there are no issues. I must have taken an extra character out last time. Thanks for confirming.
