Hello Team,

I'm unable to send broadcast messages (Both pop-ups & notifications) . I get the attached error msg. I'll appreciate your assistance.
Hello Michael,

I tried to post a broadcast with the account that you have provided and it seems to be working fine for me, http://take.ms/8PiFK . Are you using the same account as I am to test this?

Hello Mark,

Am actually using a different account. Did you broadcast as a pop-up or notification? i hit the error when i try as a notification.

If it helps to troubleshoot, i also noticed that messages between users cannot be sent.

thanks

Hey Michael,

Thanks for getting back to us, I did tried to post a new announcement, it seems work fine.

You can check my attached screenshot below.

Can I double confirm again are you using this user account "Admin" to replicate that issue?

Hello Arlex,

Yes it's the Admin account;

When you broadcast as a "Pop-up", it does show as successfully broadcasted but this does not pop-up to users site wide.

When you try to broadcast as "Broadcast Notification" then you hit the attached error message.

It seems like you hitting this following error :

Notice: Undefined index: mssge in /home/michaelehi/public_html/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/pushnotify/pushnotify.php on line 228

Warning: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to ssl://gateway.push.apple.com:2195 (Connection timed out) in /home/michaelehi/public_html/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/pushnotify/pushnotify.php on line 310
Failed to connect: 110 Connection timed out

I suspect this "Pushnotify" app not compatible with Easysocial 2, can you try temporary disable this 3rd party app and see how it goes?
