I see that I can SEARCH for users from the front-end of EasySocial, but can it search streamed content in the Activity Stream (in particular, from the Unity view).
Hi John,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I see that I can SEARCH for users from the front-end of EasySocial, but can it search streamed content in the Activity Stream (in particular, from the Unity view).

Regarding the above, I am sorry but unfortunately this is not supported at the moment

Hi Sam,

I can't even search for users. When I put anything in that blue Search field - nothing gets found - and I'm sure I have quite a few active users in my database.

Do I need to do sth at the backend setting?

Thanks.

Run the search indexer in the backend.

Hi Sam,

Is there any idea when will the search actually search for content rather then users? I think that feature is essential.

HI David,

I am sorry but currently we do not have the timeframe when this content search will be available in EasySocial.

Currently the EasySocial actually search on users, your photos and your friend list. These are the core items that builtin in EasySocial search. Anyway, We've added search indexer integration into EasyBlog latest version so that when user craeted new blog posts, EasyBlog will add into EasySocial indexer and user will be able to search them in EasySocial search As for the others content, we will be adding from time to time and if you've any specific request, you can submit your request at our user voice page http://stackideas.com/voices

Hope this help and have a nice day
Sam
