First Question:
I just had a user place a discussion at the following url:
https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1636-introduction
It also shows up at this url:
https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1636-introduction-1
I am wondering why it is showing up at two urls. I did not find two discussion posts?

Second Question:
I am wondering if there is a way to move this particular discussion thread underneath an already existing thread?
At this page https://www.drcarney.com/talk you will see a thread called "Welcome and Introductions" and just below it there is another one called "Introduction".
It would be nice if I could put the most recent one called Introduction underneath the Welcomes and Introductions if this is a possibility?

Thanks, Sean

May I know how you access the page https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1636-introduction-1 ? I mean the page that generate the link to it ?

Do you mean that you want the post 'introduction' will be a reply for the post 'welcomes and introductions'? If yes, you can use the merge function
If I've misunderstand you here, can you explain more on this in detail?

I found that URL because I wanted to make a small edit to the discussion from the back end and when I did that was the url that was displayed in the field "Post Alias"

That is exactly what I want to do. I will go and find the merge function. Thank you.

OK. I found it. I had to login as administrator to the front end. I was trying to merge it from the back end.

I wonder if the url is a bug. The reason is that when I go to edit the post from the back end it should not append another url. At least that is what I think. :-)

I see, the reason why it append -1 is because there is another post that have using the same alias previously

Thank you. It seems to me that the two different urls were serving the exact same page.

But, it is no longer relevant because the url changed after I merged the threads.
