Hello,

We have two questions about user rights in Easydiscuss and Easyblog.

In Easydiscuss:

The person participating in a discussion has the opportunity to "conclude" the discussion with his answer. Can we prevent this so that this option can only be taken by the moderator of the discussion ?

In the example of the image, it would be necessary that only Michel Dura could choose to put an answer in conclusion. (img 1)

In Easyblog:

Which settings have changed to allow users to archive their own article ? (img 2)

Best regards.
Hi there,

1. The following conditions allow users to accept a reply as an answer on EasyDiscuss.
- site admins
- category moderators
- discussion starter(user that created the discussion)
- users belonging to usergroups that has permission to accept reply as answers(https://take.ms/JWISq)

You can check your user and make sure that the user is not any of the above.

2. Only super admins and users that have this permission(https://take.ms/aZz1d) can archive blog posts.

You are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusions in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
