Hey John,
I am really sorry that delay of this reply,
I'm attaching a screenshot of how I log in. I log in at Siteground. I didn't set up a separate Joomla login. But when I login at Siteground I can enter Joomla admin for my site.
May i know is it you preview post from backend? if that is the case, you have to make sure you have logged in your frontpage.
Yes, I'm trying to preview from the back end. I don't understand what you mean by logging in your front page.
I am sorry that make you confusing with my previous reply, what i mean is you have to login on this page
http://johnnichol.demojoomla.com/index.php/blog , after you logged in, when you click preview button from backend Easyblog composer pop up, it will actually open another new browser tab preview your post on your site frontpage, If you didn't login on your site frontend first, system will detect guest/public user trying to preview the post, but this preview only available for Superadmin and the post owner.
Arlex : Do you mean that you would like to change your build-in Easyblog composer to use Joomla default JCE editor?
I just needed to use JCE for one post, because it would let me use two different sized images - a thumbnail for the intro text, and a larger image for the full article.
Arlex : May i know which user account you logged in and this happen only when you edit with your existing post or create a new post?
The only user account I have, which is the login I specified in Site Details, accessed via a Siteground Login, not a Joomla login. I haven't created any separate user accounts in Easyblog.
It does change to JCE when I create a new post. Thanks for that. But for an existing post it defaults to Easyblog's build-in Composer.
By default, if you set your default composer editor from backend > Easyblog > settings > general > composer (screenshot :
http://screencast.com/t/KwhGwKf4f ), it will only affect when you create a new post.
If your existing post (using following editor) create the post, for example :
Post A - Using Build-in Easyblog composer
Post B - Using JCE editor
If you edit
Post A, it will only show Build-in Easyblog composer even when you set your default composer to use JCE from the settings, is because JCE editor do not know how to render all the Easyblog build-in composer block content.
Hope this explanation help.
