Hello Support

I am trying to autopost again for the first time in donkeys years and something seems to be broken.

I have logged into to my Twitter developers section.
Noticed that my App ID & App Secret number had changed so copied & pasted the new codes
from FB back into the EB autpost section.

But still see the following message:

"You will need to sign on with your respective account to grant privileges to the application first."

I seem to have two twitter applications.
I am assuming that the one called "finalBUG-Bird-LOGIN" is a left over app from the days when I had a Twitter login that worked via Community Builder.
The application that I am focusing on is called:
"TweetONbug"

This is where I am trying to Tweet to:

please advise

thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you provide us with your Twitter access so that we can assist you further on this issue. Can you provide us with FTP access as well so that we can help you fix this issue much quicker.

Please advise.

Hi Paul,

I have checked your Twitter apps and it seems like you didn't set the permission to read and write. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/vhqIAzah6 . When I change this, it giving me this error:
Error
You must add your mobile phone to your Twitter profile before granting your application write capabilities. Please read https://support.twitter.com/articles/110250-adding-your-mobile-number-to-your-account-via-web for more information

Please advise.

Hi Mohd

To the best of your knowledge I have followed your instructions.

First I went here:

And added my mobile phone and inserted the code that was sent to my phone.

Second, I went here:

https://apps.twitter.com/app/5771594/permissions

And made sure that Permissions were set to “Read & Write”

Third up, I went to the test Blog post and made sure that it was published and that the auto posting for Twitter was active.

Then I went here:

But did not see the test post!

Am I missing something

Please advise :-)

Hi Paul,

I have successfully autopost to your twitter. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/y9f2rM6R6TKD . I believe you forgot to setup Twitter autoposting at EasyBlog setting. I have helped you setup the autoposting, and now you should be able to autoposting to Twitter.

Hope this helps and please update us back.

Hi Mohd

Looks good to me.
Will do a couple of tests for Twitter/FB/Linkedin just to double check.
But I am sure that every thing will be fine.
Will mark these 3 threads as solved within the next couple of hours.

thanks for doing a great job

Paul

Hi Mohd

Twitter is also working for the Blog posts!
What I am not clear about is that in the past I believe that the videos were also pushed to Twitter.
Or in other words when I published an article with videos in it they got Tweeted as well.
Did I imagine this or is there a way to get this to work?

Many thanks

Paul

Hi Mohd

I think that I remember how this worked.
I had YouTube Tweeting to Twitter.
i.e. this had nothing to do with SI.

Again many thanks
