Dear all.
Currently I am setting up the easyblog component for a client so it can auto-post in her FB and TW account.
But I am NOT able to create an app at http://dev.twitter.com as it ask me to add a mobile nr. to my twitter account. but when I "try" to add the number to the account it gives me a quite silly reply. So if i can NOT add her mobile nr. to the TW account I will NOT be able to create an app. This is quite strange tough because for another client "@conexografico" i could create an app and yes. I just checked and I did NOT add for this account a mobile nr.
Please see for your selfe...

user: xxx
PW: xxx

Am I confused? Am I doing something wrong _again_?
Details for this case:
twitter account:
username: xxx
Pw: xxx

Easyblog installation: http://v2.tantramassagehotel.net
Admin of this site: http://v2.tantramassagehotel.net/administrator
user: xxx
pw: xxx

After looking around I found this:
https://support.twitter.com/articles/14226-how-to-find-your-twitter-short-code-or-long-code
But this means sending like 3-4 sms to a foreign country.

Can you help me out with this issue plz?
Hoping to hear from you.
Regards,
Paco
Dear Arlex..
I beliefe I have also done this in the same fashion... but was not able to.. as I was stuck due the the (mobile) phone nr. it asked me continously.
Now I have saved YOUR instructions. And will use them the next time around when I have to do a new installation.
Many thanks for your kind help.
Please feel free to close the ticket
Regards,
Paco

Dear Arlex.
Many thanks for your quick reply... :-)
Hmmm from what I read back from you i see now that I was NOT clear.
The idea is to create an app in http://dev.twitter.com with the credentials
https://dev.twitter.com/
user: xxx
pw: xxx
Once the app is created, only than i can connect the easyblog component with the twitter account.
But when you log in into the dev´s twitter site (with the above mentioned credentials) it states that it is NOT posssible to create the app due to the fact that in the twitter account (@thotelmassage) has no mobile number asociated
But when you go to the twitter account with THESE credentials:
web: http://www.twitter.com
user: xxx
pw: xxx
and go to: configuration > Mobile
it simply doesn´t accept the (spanish) mobile nr.
Now this is quite strange as for my other client @conexografico i have created an app as well to connect with the easyblog component and it worked just fine. And THIS client has not his mobile number placed in his twitter account.

So how do I go about to create an app for my client @thotelmassage if it doesn´t let me create an app?
Can you help me out here, plz?
Hoping to hear from you again.
regards,
Paco

I login as this user account "thotelmassage", I also can created the new apps from this account (the apps name called "TestAppsEasyblog").
Then everything i have help you set up correctly, you can try create a blog post from your backend or frontend and see is it success to post to twitter?

Hello Paco Almena,

Sorry for late reply to this,
First step -> http://screencast.com/t/LSzzDRttVCMC
Second step -> click "API key" tab > click "modify apps permission " > select "Read & Write" option > save
Third step -> go back "API key" tab > Click "Generate token access" > Click "Referesh" link
4th step -> Copy API key / API secret in your backend > Easyblog > Twitter Autopost setting > save > Click "Sign in with Twitter"
