I have the basic Twitter integration working, specifically the post FROM Twitter into Easyblog using a key Hashtag.

However this only works for "plain" Tweets. If the tweek has a link in it (specifically a link to a twitter picture) then Easyblog does not pick it up from Twitter.

I have run in debug mode (debug=1) and it is not "finding" the tweet with the link in it and the hashtag.
Hello Martin,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look on your issue here? Please advise.

I should have mentioned that "extplorer" component is installed which allows access to the filesystem for file level access.

Hello Martin,

I'm sorry, we cannot check it unless you give us your twitter account to debug this issue.

Sorry, you didn't ask for the Twitter account in your response.

Account details supplied in "optional information" field below

Hello Martin,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We did some research on this because Twitter API can't retrieve your tweets with links. You can check this out here

https://dev.twitter.com/console

with the API method of "search/tweets" and the query of from:2499ATC #test I found this docs about Twitter not indexing your posts with links. I think you will need to consult Twitter support regarding this as this is what is recomended here

https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/8699

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks.

Is it possible that you may have left my website in some sort of "diagnostic" mode. Posting to Twitter has stopped overnight. When I manually try by clicking the post to Twitter button I get a json diagnostic string on the string.

I have tried revoking and recreating access but now I get the diagnostic in the optional information (to keep it private) below

Hello Martin,

Sorry for leaving behind some debug codes here I checked your site but the issue has been resolved. Did you somehow reinstall EasyBlog? I can no longer replicate this. Please advice.

Thanks!

Yes, my version of Easyblog was one version behind so I updated and the problem has cleared.
