I have mailbox posting working and also integrated twitter posting. All is working fine except I have a default image to upload for twitter posts and its not doing so. I've entered the correct path for the image file under Media/General/Category avatars as: images/Jobs/VeteranJobs.jpg but its not displaying. Screenshot showing a manual post vs automated post on twitter.
Hi Jason,

As for your screenshot given, the top one is automated post while the bottom one is manual post on twitter yes?
May I know which blog post that doesn't have the image? is it the blog post USAJOBS Daily Saved Search Results for Veteran Pals for 7/10/2018 with id= 81? If yes, seems like this blog post doesn't have any image(cover as well content image), so that when autopost trigger it doesn't get any image to be send to twitter. As you fetch the blog post from email, it could be best to include an image in the content

Yes, you are correct. The top image (no image just the mountain placeholder) is the automated post and the second image with the Jobs image is the manual post.

The posted email message does not contain an image. Is there no way to attach a default image to the post from EasyBlog? I thought that was what the media section was for specifying. If not, how do I disable the mountain placeholder image from showing? That image is not in the original email message.

Also, the original email message contains HTML links that are clickable but EasyBlog is simply displaying the URL and its not clickable. Is there a way to correct that?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,

I see,
Yes, by default if there is no image detected in the blog post (once the email was fetch from the mailbox) content nor the cover image once you autopost it to twitter it will use the (mountain placeholder) which is the default image.
And yes, you can change the default image by follow this documentation: https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/customizations/placeholder-image-overrides

Also, the original email message contains HTML links that are clickable but EasyBlog is simply displaying the URL and its not clickable. Is there a way to correct that?

Seems like in your blog post content it doesn't have the href tag that cause it to not clickable as link : http://take.ms/yDqfz
You need to edit it as example: (toggle first)
