Hi
We installed EasyBlog last week and all running well. Configurations, navigation, layout has now been established and working well.

We are taking the next step now and turning the comments feature on. Any blog article with comments turned on has the following error ono the article page ... everything is public so comments are for guests. There is no registration part.
Warning: is_file() [function.is-file]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(D:\Inetpub\vhosts\philocapital.com.au\httpdocs\images\easyblog_avatar\http:\http://www.philocapital.com.au\components\com_easyblog\assets\images\default_blogger.png) is not within the allowed path(s): (D:\Inetpub\vhosts\philocapital.com.au\httpdocs\;C:\Windows\Temp\) in D:\Inetpub\vhosts\philocapital.com.au\httpdocs\libraries\joomla\filesystem\file.php on line 523

What to do?

regards, mark
Hello Mark,

The error that you are getting is actually because your hosting provider is enforcing openbase_dir and they did not specify the path to your site. Can you try contacting your hosting provider to disable this option?
