Is there a way to turn off a stream when Application is installed by users?
I suggest making it a default application so the users don't have to install the Apps, as they would be default state to YES, or pre-installed.

I just created a Lesson Guide video for new users to understand the Applications, to show administrators how to check to make sure they are set properly etc.

I'll be uploading it to Youtube shortly and adding it to the What did you learn about EasySocial today? March 17-21 Lesson Guides for this week.

Thanks Randall! Looking forward to see your video instruction.

I still suggest a setting should be added to not show application install, I thought at first it would be nice for people to see so they install the app as well. Unfortunately, the Application install stream is a useless notification, there is no link to it. Eventually it will be annoying for users.

Thanks!

I checked and there is no way to turn off the notifications for Members installing Applications at this time. I agree that it is kind of useless and does clutter up the stream when people install apps. I am sure Mark will make sure this is addressed in a future version of EasySocial.

Here are the linls to the EasySocial Lesson Guides I have been busy creating each day.

Monday March 10 to March 14, 2014 - There are 5 Lesson Guides on EasySocial

http://stackideas.com/forums/what-did-you-learn-about-easysocial-today-learn-share-repeat

Monday March 17 to March 21, 2014 - There are 4 Lesson Guides on EasySocial - I took yesterday off to install and play around with EasySocial 1.2.2

http://stackideas.com/forums/what-did-you-learn-about-easysocial-today-lesson-guides-for-march-17-21-2014

Hope they help you with some things in EasySocial. More to come next week.

I will probably put the Lesson Guides to 3 a week instead of 5 Lesson Guides a week, as the pace for planning and creating 5 lesson guides in 5 days is too much. I don't get much else done, and I have my own network to finish and manage.

Ever since EasySocial came into existence my life has been 70% EasySocial and the rest is just filler.

Hey guys,

You can actually turn this off in the settings for the "Users - Applications" app. See my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/SGpFCaFaM

Hi Mark,

Awesome!

Hopefully, all of these settings will be organized in one place (in Settings) - in the future, then another setting in the object itself for, I don't know, maybe Default or Override.

Thanks!

Is there away to make it so that some users do not have a stream. As in, a particular group does not post comments on there stream but the can post a comment on others.
