turn off recent blog posts

Hello!

In the default blog theme there is an option " Show latest entries in header " to no and it should go away, ( i have searched here and that was the answer ) but.. it does not go away

Any ideas ? using latest blog version
but for now i have resolved it by editing the menu, page display and putting something in there... so can mark this as closed

does this error in the error logs have anything to do with it?

Yes sorry page title has " recent blog posts " then site name, referring to my request setting the Show latest entries in header = no, does not make it go away

Actually that option not for page title but for this : http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-11_1226_001.png
If you want to remove Recent blog posts from your page title, please replace this file ...\components\com_easyblog\helpers\helper.php with this.

replaced file... still there... screenshot to make it more clear
