Hi
I am in my clients website, which is using Easy Blog (still in developing stage)
This API key is in my profile 4627091d7cecdce13c094a7d64eb5497 and I paste it and save into the component, but when I try to get the latest version, I get the following error message (see here:) http://prntscr.com/235jef
saying that the API key is not correct and I will need to generate new one, which I can not do (can't find how to or where)

Actually I thought I was using a free version of the component on this website

when you guy's are available, it would be great to get answer on what to do, I really like to keep everything up to date and use only latest versions available on the websites.

domain is http://www.fridarmidstodin.com

one more question...when I update the component, will all settings I make be overwritten to default?

greetings
Bertha
Hello,

Upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

If you having any issue, do provide us your backend and FTP access so we can perform the installation for you.
