also anyway to change the background of this module with another image or color?
You can change this easily in your Language overrides area. Look under the extensions menu and you will find Language. Go there and search for what you want to change. Attached a screenshot

I believe Bridgette has provided a pretty good answer regarding the language file.

The logbox module background is determined by what you configured in Settings > General > Login
