I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It seems like when the AJAX request is made without the /index.php portion, your web server is throwing a forbidden error message.

To fix this, I have configured EasyBlog to use /index.php in all it's ajax calls as you can see here, http://take.ms/wDI3e
