It is required for you to enabled this http://take.ms/2IRFb first in order for it to be truncated. Please note that, if you use this truncation features, all your html tag will be striped and shown on your site. If there are html tag on your current blog post, i would recommend you to use 'Readmore' tag, as it will show content before the readmore and no htm tag will be striped.

The problem is actually because these contents were copy / pasted from Microsoft word. Ideally, they should use the paste from Word from TINYMCE to ensure that TINYMCE strips off all proprietary codes like this, http://take.ms/anVa9

Since the TINYMCE editor on the site isn't configured to be rendering the advanced layout, you don't see the paste from word button. The best way around this is to copy and paste the contents on a normal text pad and then paste it into TINYMCE again.

I have fixed these posts on your site and they should be truncated correctly now.

Most clients will copy/paste from a word doc when doing their blogs. How can I set it so that they dont have this issue with the text? Do I need to change the editor? If so, to what other than tinymce?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I believe other editor also unable to support this, the only way to fix this, when user copied those content from Microsoft word, they have to paste in normal text pad like Windows machine notepad or Mac machine text edit program, then copy those content from notepad and paste into editor.
