Truncating issue with 5.0.9

Hi,

With version 5.0.9, it seems that when the truncation setting is turned on (settings shown in attachment) all images are removed.
It looks like it's limited to when the truncation type is set to words or letters - it strips out all the HTML so images and formatting (i.e. <br/> and <p> tags) disappear.

May i know are you using Joomla default editor or composer?

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend, which post URL and FTP access so we can help you check on this?
